First and foremost, being a first-time mom who wants to breastfeed is already hard. I truly thought I came into motherhood with a fair amount of knowledge as a NICU nurse myself — but I was wrong. It was incredibly humbling to realize that my latch was wrong.
From the moment I walked in, Jessie was so warm and welcoming. She never once made me feel dumb or said anything like, “you should know that.” Instead, she met me with kindness, reassurance, and genuine support.
Throughout my breastfeeding journey, I saw Jessie at least 4–5 times during those first few months. Every single visit, she was comforting and encouraging — whether we were doing weighted feeds, reassessing his latch, or just working through new concerns. She understood how vulnerable this season of life is and handled it with so much care.
She was on time, every time — which as a mom, you know is deeply appreciated. I never felt rushed or hurried out the door. It was clear she managed her time well while still giving each patient her full attention.
This is such a delicate and emotional chapter, and you truly couldn’t choose a better lactation consultant to nurture, educate, and support you through it. I am so grateful for Jessie’s patience, understanding, and compassionate demeanor. My son and I will forever be grateful for Auntie Jessie. 💛

Working with Jessica was truly life changing for me and my family. When I gave birth to my son, the first week was incredibly emotional, I was in tears because he didn’t want to latch at all. The moment we called Jessica, she took us in right away, without hesitation, when we needed her most.
She worked with us in every possible way, offering patience, knowledge, and constant encouragement, and she made what felt like an overwhelming journey so much easier. My son would only latch in front of her and not at home, but instead of giving up, Jessica helped us find a solution that worked for us.
Because of her support, I was able to pump and feed Lucas breastmilk through bottles. That became our success story. Today, my son is nine months old and is still receiving only breastmilk no formula at all. I’m beyond grateful for Jessica’s dedication, compassion, and unwavering support. I honestly couldn’t have done this without her.

My husband and I first met Jessica at a breastfeeding class when I was pregnant with my first. Funny enough I went into labor that evening and had my daughter. In the hospital we requested lactation services, as Jessica had educated us that it was available. Unfortunately, the hospital staff did not currently have a lactation consultant while we were there so we made our first appointment to see Jessica while still in our hospital room the following week. This began our almost 6 month journey and grew one of the most important relationships my partner and I have had as new time parents. Jessica not only provided her knowledge and expertise as a nurse, lactation consultant, but as a mother herself. She shared her experiences with us, normalizing our experiences and validating our emotions. She is the one who identified that our daughter had a lip tie and gave us resources to pediatric dentists. She is the one who identified that our daughter favored one side and had difficulties turning her neck and linked us to resources for pediatric chiropractors (which completely fixed the issue). She is the one who educated us on what rights we have as parents while dealing with a cruel pediatrician who did not take our concerns seriously and labeled us as “anxious parents”. When you’re a first time parent, you don’t know what is “normal” but my cries for help landed on deaf ears and I was told my baby had colic. Jessica is the one who encouraged and taught us to advocate for ourselves and our child to see a GI and it was discovered that my daughter had a milk protein allergy that she suffered with for 4 months in pain and continuously kept being labeled as a baby with colic.
Jessica walked next to me through every dip in milk supply. Held my hand as i battled with PPD. And was one of the first adults my daughter bonded with outside of me and her dad.
I looked forward to my weekly sessions, even when my daughter was thriving, because it was a safe place that I always felt seen, heard, and validated. After a while, Jessica noticed that me and some other clients were continuing services even when they weren’t needed as much. She formed a moms breastfeeding group where we formed close relationships, shared our experiences, the wins, and struggles, and breastfed our children with the continuous education and support of Jessica.
I only ended my services due to going back to work, but remained in contact with Jessica with any issues or concerns that came up later.
With her help, support, encouragement, I can proudly say i was able to exclusively breastfeed my daughter for almost 2 years. I am currently pregnant with my second child and I look forward to future services with Jessica to continue my breastfeeding journey.
She truly changed my postpartum, first time mom experience and I am beyond grateful for what she has done for me and my family.

When our son was born, we were over the moon, but those first few weeks quickly turned into one of the hardest experiences we’ve ever faced. He couldn’t latch, and what we thought would come naturally became a daily struggle filled with frustration, exhaustion, and a lot of tears.
Watching my wife go through that was heartbreaking. She questioned herself constantly. Every feeding felt like a battle. We were running on no sleep, emotions were high, and the stress started to take over what should have been a beautiful first month with our son.
And then we had Jessica. From the very beginning, she was there, not just as a professional, but as a steady, reassuring presence in the middle of our storm. She never made us feel rushed or judged. She listened. She reassured my wife when she felt like her body was failing her. She reminded us that our son was learning too, that this wasn’t anyone’s fault.
Jessica walked us through every attempt, every setback, and every small win. When something didn’t work, she didn’t give up, she adjusted. She encouraged. She educated us in a way that made us feel empowered instead of overwhelmed. She helped us understand what was happening and, more importantly, helped us believe we could get through it.
There were days we truly felt like we were losing it. Without her calm guidance and constant support, I honestly don’t know how we would have managed. She was there every step of the way for my wife and for our son checking in, answering questions, celebrating progress with us. And eventually, we found the solution that worked perfectly for our family. That moment of relief, when things finally clicked, felt like a weight had been lifted off our shoulders. We could finally breathe and enjoy our baby the way we had imagined.
Jessica didn’t just help with latching. She helped protect our peace during one of the most vulnerable times of our lives. She gave my wife confidence. She gave me reassurance. And she gave our son the best possible start.
We will forever be grateful for her compassion, her patience, and her dedication. She truly made all the difference for our family.

I honestly can’t thank Jessica enough for everything she did for me during my breastfeeding journey. In the beginning I really struggled and felt so discouraged. There were times I didn’t think I could keep going, but she stayed patient, supportive, and consistent the whole time.
She always made me feel so comfortable and we built such a genuine connection. She cared so much about me and my son. Because of her I feel so confident breastfeeding my child and even future children. She is so knowledgeable and truly my biggest cheerleader through it all. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone who is struggling with breastfeeding. She truly made a life changing difference for me.
